Smartsheet.com is a software-as-a-service online platform.  Smartsheet.com is a subscription based service that offers free and paid accounts. Smartsheet.com has the selling position of “Coordinate Anything - The Work Collaboration Tool for Businesses of All Sizes” Smartsheet.com features a spreadsheet approach that incorporates links, hyperlinks, and a very powerfull reporting feature.   It has often been referred to ‘excel on steroids”  (the good kind of steroids)  In our opinion it is the best of breed for a project management software.   It is an open platform, offering many advantages over closed format software solutions.    It is not an “out of the box solution” for any one industry.  However, Smartsheet.com has many useful templates that can be applied to any industry.  Smartsheet also has a full working mobile platform for apple and android platforms.
